There are many signet rings out there, but it's not often you come across one whose shape is as perfect as this one. I had a similar one years ago which, understandably, sold in a flash. I've been keeping my eyes peeled ever since, so when I saw this one, despite it having initials carved into it which of course limits my customer base, I could not resist. Crafted from 18ct gold and boasting the most incredible antique patina, this ring is truly special. She is quite heavy but still extremely elegant. The band leads up to beautifully tapered shoulders supporting a lovely oval setting. The Carnelian monogrammed intaglio has been beautifully set and engraved with the letters E, W and M. This ring feels incredible on the finger and if these letters meant something to me, I would without a shadow of a doubt be keeping her. But alas, she is meant for someone else. If the letters E, W and M mean something to you, then a ring like this doesn't come around very often, if more than once.

Condition: This ring is in excellent condition. The stone has no imperfections to call out. There is some very light scuffing on the base of the band but this is absolutely in keeping with the age of the ring. In certain light you can see a very light blemish on the base of the ring most likely where (infuriatingly) someone has acid-tested the gold. This could be polished out but you would lose the patina that has built up over the decades which, of course, should be avoided at all costs. Given it's hardly noticeable and is on the underside of the ring I would strongly advise leaving it as is. Please view all the photos and videos carefully before purchasing.

Condition

All our jewellery is pre-loved, vintage or antique, which, by definition, is second-hand. It is not new. It has been worn for years, decades and in some cases a century or more. Most items will show signs of wear in line with their age and history, such as scuffs, scratches or dents. This should be expected and is part of the charm of second-hand jewellery. When describing our pieces we will call out any noticeable imperfections in the description and photos, please be sure to study them carefully before making a purchase 🖤

Packaging

We try to align our small business with the sustainability of buying pre-loved, vintage and antique pieces.

As some of you may remember, for a long while we packaged pieces in small aluminium tins that you can keep and reuse. This was to avoid as much packaging waste as possible. For various reasons, we now send items in branded cardboard jewellery boxes, carefully packaged in tissue paper and shipping boxes. These are recyclable, so we kindly ask you, where possible, to recycle or re-use as much of our packaging as possible ♽

If you would prefer to receive your piece in an aluminium tin then please do feel free to leave a note when you check out and we will do our best to accommodate.

We do sometimes have new and second-hand jewellery boxes available if you prefer. These will always be in an excellent second-hand condition. Please see our other products page for availability.

Please note: any boxes featured in product photos are props only and are not included in the listing for sale unless otherwise stated.

Returns

For our Returns policy, see our returns section.

Before purchasing, please be sure to read descriptions throughly, paying particular attention to dimensions and sizes. Please double check using a tape measure or ring sizer where applicable. Look carefully at all pictures and videos, and do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions 🖤

Resizing & Alterations

For pieces that can be resized, whilst we can offer a resizing and alternations service, we do recommend that you carry this out with your local jeweller as this will always ensure you are happy with the alteration and size.

If you would still like us to assist, please feel free to contact us before purchasing so that we can provide an accurate quote.

Please note we cannot offer refunds for pieces that have been altered or resized.
