I don’t want to pay import taxes and fees, please can you send my order marked as a gift with a low value?

The short answer is no. As a business, it is not only illegal for us to do this, but also not possible as we have business shipping accounts. In addition, marking as low value or a gift would invalidate all insurance. We want to ensure both parties are covered should something go missing or get damaged in transit.

Please can you reserve an item for me until I get paid?

As a small business we sadly can’t reserve items as there have been too many instances of non-payment. 


Do you offer layaway?

Unfortunately we no longer offer direct layaway, however you may be able to select an alternative payment method at the check out if you qualify. 

Do you offer a resizing and adjustments service?

Whilst we can assist with this, we strongly advise that you carry out any alterations with your local jeweller, especially if you are purchasing from overseas. This will ensure you are completely happy with the sizing and can discuss the options in person. If you would still prefer us to carry out resizing or alternations for you, please contact us before placing your order so we can provide an accurate quote and lead time, as this will vary depending on the requirements. Please note that we do not accept returns on pieces that have been adjusted or altered in any way.

How will my jewellery be packaged?

We try to align our small business with the sustainability of buying pre-loved, vintage and antique pieces.

As some of you may remember, for a long while we packaged pieces in small aluminium tins that you can keep and reuse. This was to avoid as much packaging waste as possible. For various reasons, we now send items in branded cardboard jewellery boxes, carefully packaged in tissue paper and shipping boxes. These are recyclable, so we kindly ask you, where possible, to recycle or re-use as much of our packaging as possible ♽

If you would prefer to receive your piece in an aluminium tin then please do feel free to leave a note when you check out and we will do our best to accommodate.

We do sometimes have new and second-hand jewellery boxes available if you prefer. Please see our other products section for availability.
